Mobile service across the Grand Strand
Marine ceramic coating.
A finer layer of care.
Marine ceramic coating starts well before the coating goes on. We assess the finish, address the correction it needs and prepare the surface for Gtechniq protection.

Good protection starts with preparation.
A coating does not remove oxidation or disguise scratches. The first step is to inspect the gelcoat or painted finish and agree on the appropriate correction. Cleaning and polishing prepare the surface; coating follows once the finish and application conditions are right.
Gtechniq, selected for marine surfaces.
We use Gtechniq marine coating products. Ask us which system and surfaces are appropriate for your boat, how the proposed work differs from a wash and sealant, and what aftercare it will need. We explain the scope before you commit.
A realistic plan for application and aftercare.
A fully mobile service still needs a suitable work environment. Shelter, weather, surface temperature and cure conditions affect where and when coating can happen. We assess the setup and explain the return-to-water and first-wash instructions for the chosen product. Regular care remains part of ownership.

Ceramic coating: your questions.
Have a question about your boat? Call us and talk through the details.
Can ceramic coating fix a dull or oxidized hull?
No. Correction and coating are separate stages. Dull or oxidized gelcoat may need compounding, polishing or another restoration step first. We assess the existing finish and explain that preparation before recommending a coating.
How long does a marine ceramic coating last?
The answer depends on the product, preparation, storage, exposure and upkeep. We discuss the selected system and maintenance expectations in your quote. We do not apply one lifespan or warranty claim to every boat and every coating.
Can you ceramic coat a boat in an open marina slip?
Not every slip is suitable. Application and cure conditions have to meet the requirements of the coating being used. We review shelter, access, weather and the boat’s schedule before confirming a location or date.
Will I still need to wash the boat?
Yes. Coating is part of a care plan. Continue regular rinsing and gentle cleaning, and follow the aftercare instructions supplied for your coating. Tell us about any products already used on the boat before adding cleaners or protection.
