Mobile service across the Grand Strand
Gelcoat restoration.
Bring back the depth.
When a wash no longer brings back the gloss, the finish deserves a closer look. We assess oxidation, surface marks and fading, then recommend the correction the boat actually needs.

Find out what can be corrected.
The condition and history of a finish determine what is possible. We look at the affected surfaces and can discuss a test spot before agreeing on the work. Deep damage, thin finishes and structural repairs need a different conversation from routine surface correction.
Use the right level of correction.
Compounding, polishing and, where appropriate, wet sanding address different degrees of surface damage. More aggressive work is not automatically better. We choose the approach around the material and the result that can reasonably be achieved, then explain the steps in the estimate.
Protect the work once it is finished.
Restoration brings the finish back into focus; protection and washing help you look after it. We can discuss a sealant or ceramic-coating option and a maintenance plan that suits how the boat is stored and used. Any remaining limitations are part of the handover conversation.

Gelcoat restoration: your questions.
Have a question about your boat? Call us and talk through the details.
Does every oxidized boat need wet sanding?
No. The level of correction depends on the severity of the oxidation and the condition of the finish. We assess whether compounding and polishing will be sufficient before considering more involved work.
Can all scratches be removed?
No. The depth of the mark and the remaining finish affect what can be safely corrected. We explain likely improvements and any limitations after inspection rather than promising to erase every scratch.
How is oxidation removal priced?
The number of correction steps, surface area, severity and access all affect the estimate. The existing service is quoted after assessing the boat; a test spot can help establish the work required. In-water hull access may affect the price.
